Bang Graphix Technologies was hired to design a website for AVA.
The African Volunteers Association (AVA) is a non-profit making civil society organisation which was registered in Uganda in 2001 as a private company limited by guarantee without capital share. The beginning of AVA is rooted in an International Conference which was organised at Uganda Martyrs University (UMU), Nkozi, Uganda, from 7–10 September 1998 under the theme of eradicating poverty. At the end of that Conference, it was resolved, that since poverty is multifaceted and multidimensional, its eradication requires full partnership with those who are disadvantaged using all possible means, organs and approaches, including NGOs, cooperatives, religious organisations and the grass-roots communities. In 1999, a National Workshop was held at UMU, and a decision was taken to form the African Volunteers Association (AVA) which was later registered in 2001 to put in place means of starting projects and institutions to facilitate sharing of material, personal and knowledge necessary for prosperity creation. Since then, AVA has found it important to refocus its objectives to be promotion of social and environmental justice. AVA has brought on board the achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which include addressing unemployment, promoting food security, gender and youth issues. We have found it necessary to clarify that being a volunteer does not just mean working for nothing: it is a serious ethical commitment to be in solidarity with other people, convinced that by sharing what we are and have we are also enriched. In fact, for AVA, volunteers are asked to contribute towards the sustenance of AVA’s activities

On the 07th of July 2023, Bang Graphix Technologies was hired to design a corporate website for Paul and Farmers Dairy Solutions.
Paul and Farmers Dairy solution deals in purchasing milk from farmers and selling to the bigger dairy farm in this case is Amos Dairies limited. The Paul and Farmers dairy solutions  started Diary activities in 2018  where they would collect milk  and sell at a profit. They established goals and a strategy for the coming five years. The Proprietor considered short-term actions needed to prepare the dairy  to meet its long-term objectives and assessed long-term impacts of short-term plans. In addition, because a Diary’s main business is milk, the plan must provide a basis for financial strategy and a control device against which to compare actual progress. Findings from an internal review formed the basis for the plan objectives and portrayed the Dairy’s strengths and weaknesses.

The farmers’ participation in setting and implementing the strategies indicates that they are responsible for accomplishing them and will use measurable parameters to monitor performance. This approach helps the Dairy   attain a higher level of preparedness in the face of external challenges. This helps to increase levels of operational efficiency that will result in better service to its customers.

Kagiira Skills Development Centre (KSDC) is located in Ibanda district along Mbarara-Kamwenge Road at 95 kilometres from Mbarara. Kagiira Skills Development Centre is a center of excellence for practical training in modern agricultural skills.

The Centre was established in 2020 as a  result of the several farmer requests to visit, learn and scale up the different agricultural practices that were being practiced at the farm.  The main focus of Kagiira Skills Development Centre is to offer training of farmers’ groups, students on internship, extension workers and other individual farmers on modern and high yielding agricultural practices. The Centre offers practical training in Commercial Diary farming, Poultry farming, piggery, Goat rearing, tree planting and agronomy.

Ibanda Community Organisation Network (ICON) is a Commnity Organisation whose main goal is to help every homestead increase their income. Bang Graphix Technologies was hired to design their logo in 2021. This was our base of inspiration for the mighty trending ICON logo. We wanted the ICON brand to be recognized as edgy and also to appear sleek? Identifying ICON brand goals played a huge role in choosing a logo. It was best to study the ICON market to further understand how we could present the organisation uniquely and memorably.

Ibanda University E-Learning Manahgement System Project

Ibanda University (IU) is a private, co-educational Ugandan university in the Western Region of Uganda.

Location

The campus of the university is located in Bubaare Cell, Bufunda Ward, Bufunda Division in the Municipality of Ibanda (pop.31,316), in Ibanda District, Western Uganda. This is approximately 72 kilometres (45 mi), by road, north of Mbarara, the largest city in the sub-region.^[Ibanda University is approximately 308 kilometres (191 mi), by road, southwest of Kampala, the largest city and capital of Uganda. The geographical coordinates of the campus of Ibanda University are:0°07’24.0″S, 30°29’54.0″E (Latitude:-0.123333; Longitude:30.498333).

Overview

The university was established in 2014 by private Ugandan individuals. It is accredited by the Uganda National Council for Higher Education. It is a co-educational institution that offers certificate, diploma and bachelors courses.

The highest supervisory body of the university is the board of trustees. Below the board is the university council. Below the council, is the university senate. The day-to-day activities of the university are supervised by the vice chancellor, assisted by the university secretary, the university bursar, the academic registrar and the deans of schools of the university. Currently the chairman of the board of trustees is “Mr. Jeeb Rwomushana”, the university chancellor is Prof. Venansius Baryamureeba and the vice-chancellor is Professor Samson James Opolot. The former systems administrator at Ibanda University is Mr. Gilbert Bang Nabaasa.
