Ibanda Central Clinic Website Project
Ibanda Central Clinic is a Private Health facility located in Ibanda Municipality with a variety of health
services. It is one of the oldest private health facilities within the district. The Facility was started so
as to fulfil the health needs of population with in Ibanda and the surrounding districts.
BACKGROUND
Ibanda central clinic is located at Plot 11, Bufunda Road, P. O. Box 198, Bufunda Division, Ibanda
Municipality, Ibanda District in South Western Uganda. Ibanda Central Clinic is approximately 70Km
from Mbarara city.
It was established in 1988 by three Initiators (owners) namely Dr. Margaret Kasande, Dr. John
Tinkasiimire and late Richard Kateiga Bikanyangira (RIP). The Clinic is a PFP (Private for Profit).
OWNERSHIP
Ibanda central clinic is now owned by one proprietor namely Dr. Margaret Kasande (MBCHB (MUK)
following the withdraw of her two founder colleagues from a joint facility.
On 17 January 2017 she registered the facility (Ibanda central clinic) into a limited company.
